Privacy policy

What this website is for, what it collects, who it talks to and what rights you have. Short, because the site genuinely does very little.

The short version

This website exists to generate phone calls for an air conditioning company. It has no forms and collects nothing you type. It contacts two third parties. Google: every page loads two typefaces from Google Fonts, and six pages can load an interactive Google map. Microsoft: every page runs Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors scroll, click and move through the site so the business can see which pages help people and which get in their way. Clarity sets cookies, listed below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Clarity does not load at all.

Everything below says the same thing in more detail.

Effective October 1, 2026

What this website is for

This is a lead generation website. Haswani HVAC & Construction operates it to reach homeowners and businesses in the Houston area who need air conditioning, heating, ductwork or related work. Every page is built to help somebody with an HVAC problem understand it well enough to decide whether to pick up the phone and call.

That is the site’s entire commercial purpose, and it is stated here plainly so there is no ambiguity about it. Nothing is sold through this website, no payment is taken on it, and no account is created. The only action it asks of you is a telephone call, which you are free to make or not make.

Who runs this website

This site is published and controlled by:

Any question about this policy, or about information you believe the business holds, goes to that phone number and that address.

What this website collects

Nothing you type. There are no contact forms, no quote forms, no newsletter signups, no booking widgets and no chat popups anywhere on this site. There is nowhere to enter your name, email address, phone number or address, so none of that is collected. This is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight.

The cost calculator

The HVAC cost calculator runs entirely inside your browser. The selections you make are not transmitted anywhere, not stored, and not visible to anyone but you. Closing the page discards them.

Hosting

This site is served as static files by Cloudflare. Like essentially all web hosting, Cloudflare processes standard technical request information such as IP address, browser type and requested page so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy practices rather than this policy.

Call tracking

The site includes a small script that records when a click-to-call link is used, so the business can understand which pages lead to phone calls. It records the page and the position of the button that was clicked. It does not record who you are and does not read anything you type. Those events are passed to Microsoft Clarity, described next, so the business can compare which button positions people actually use.

Microsoft Clarity

Every page loads Microsoft Clarity, a usage analytics service. We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with this website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay. In practice Clarity records how each page appears on your screen, where you scroll, what you click or tap and how the pointer moves, together with your browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, the page that sent you here, and which call button you used if you used one. The site has no forms, so there is nothing typed for Clarity to capture.

The business uses this to find the pages that confuse people and the buttons nobody can find, and to improve the site and how it presents its services. Microsoft collects this data to provide Clarity, and may also use it to provide and improve its own services, including Microsoft Advertising. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Clarity sets two cookies on this domain: _clck, which holds a random Clarity ID so a returning browser is recognised, and _clsk, which ties the pages of one visit into a single recording. It can also set cookies on Microsoft’s own domains, including CLID, which records when Clarity first saw your browser on any site that uses it, and MUID, which Microsoft uses across its sites for advertising, analytics and operational purposes. These are pseudonymous IDs: they identify a browser rather than naming a person.

Microsoft keeps session recordings for 30 days, and click and heatmap data for 9 months. A recording the business chooses to save is also kept for 9 months.

To keep Clarity off, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, and this site will not load Clarity at all. Blocking scripts or cookies from clarity.ms works too. Neither changes anything about how the site works.

Typefaces

Every page loads two typefaces, Montserrat and Inter, from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and in making those requests it gives Google your IP address, your browser and operating system version, and the address of the page you are reading. That happens on every page, as the page loads.

Google states that its Fonts service sets no cookies and does not use these requests for advertising or profiling. That processing is governed by Google’s own privacy practices rather than this policy. The site requests nothing else from Google Fonts: no tracking pixel, no script, only the stylesheet and the font files themselves.

If you block those two domains, the pages still work exactly as they do now and simply render in your device’s own typefaces instead.

Maps

The maps on this site are drawn by us and served from this domain, using city boundary data from OpenStreetMap. The drawn map contains no tracking and loads nothing from anyone else.

Six pages then upgrade that drawing to an interactive Google map, which loads on its own when you scroll down to it. At that point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own terms. On a page with a map, nothing is requested until you actually scroll to it.

If you would rather that did not happen, blocking third-party cookies or scripts in your browser leaves the drawn map fully working. Nothing else on the site depends on it.

Cookies

The only cookies set on this domain are the two Microsoft Clarity cookies described above. Clarity may also set cookies on Microsoft’s domains, and Google may set its own once an interactive map loads. None of them is needed for the site to work: block them all and every page, every call button and the cost calculator behave exactly the same.

The site does not show a cookie banner. Instead, the notice at the foot of every page says Clarity is in use and links here, and a Global Privacy Control signal switches Clarity off before it starts.

Phone calls, and what happens after one

Calling the business is an ordinary phone call. Nothing on this website records, routes or intercepts it.

If you call, the business will normally note what you tell it: your name, your phone number, the address where the work is needed, and a description of the problem. That information is used to schedule the visit, carry out the work, produce a quote or invoice, and keep a service record for the equipment. It is business information handled for the purpose of providing the service you asked for.

How information is used and shared

Information you give over the phone is used to do the job and to keep normal business records. It may be shared with technicians assigned to your work, and with the city permitting office where a job requires a mechanical permit and inspection, because a permit application requires the property address.

Your information is not sold. It is not rented, traded, or passed to marketing companies, lead brokers or data brokers. It is not used for targeted advertising, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

How long anything is kept

Job records, quotes and invoices are kept for as long as the business needs them for warranty, tax and accounting purposes, in line with ordinary record-keeping obligations. The only thing this website itself collects is the Clarity usage data described above, which Microsoft holds for 30 days (recordings) or 9 months (click and heatmap data) and then deletes.

Your rights

Texas residents have rights over personal data under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to confirm whether a business is processing their data, to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising.

This website collects no name, email address or phone number. The usage data Clarity collects is tied to a random browser ID rather than to you by name, so the business usually has no way to match it to a particular person; Global Privacy Control, or blocking clarity.ms, stops it being collected in the first place. If you believe the business holds information about you and you want it corrected or deleted, call (855) 758-5353 or write to the address above and say so. You will not be charged for asking, and you will not be treated differently for having asked.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this website does not load Microsoft Clarity, so no recording is made and no Clarity cookie is set. Nothing else on the site needs switching off. Do Not Track is an older signal that was never standardised and that most browsers have since dropped, so the site does not act on it; Global Privacy Control is the one that works here.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, is made of static files with no database and no login, and sends a strict content security policy that blocks scripts from any origin other than this domain and Microsoft Clarity. There is no visitor data stored on it to be breached. Information given over the phone is handled with ordinary business care.

Children

This is a home services website. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to Google Maps, a Google Business Profile, OpenStreetMap and other external services. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else’s website, subject to their privacy practices rather than this policy.

Changes to this policy

If this site ever adds a form, a booking system, advertising tracking or anything else that collects information about visitors, this page will be updated to say so before those features go live. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
